Bio

Brandon is a multi instrumentalist and composer, whose professional musical experience spans over 30 years.   He tours internationally playing guitar, saxophone, flute and clarinet as a soloist, and as a supporting musician with many jazz, orchestral, pop, and world ensembles.

When working in his studio, he provides original compositions for use in television and film.   Brandon has won a variety of awards during his career, a Juno, Videofact, which funded a MuchMusic video, and various radio and performance awards.

He has studied advanced acoustic finger-style guitar in France under Pierre Bensusan, and in Canada, for two years under Don Ross.   He has also studied saxophone under jazz artists, Kirk MacDonald, and Pat Labarbara.  

Brandon also has extensive teaching experience in jazz.

His collaboration with lyricist and vocalist Lizzie Shanks has united his instrumental composition with her rich message and unique voice to provide rewarding, original music.
